Chromebook For Life

When I was showing my slide deck to my Mum I felt nervous that she was gonna say that I am not responsible to take my Chromebook home. I was also nervous that my teacher was gonna say that I was not responsible to take my Chromebook home. Luckily both of them didn't say that. Overall I felt happy and nervous. #First Day #Chromefree.

My Favourite Top Tip

This is my favourite top tip. I picked this top tip because it is very useful to lock your screen. Locking your screen is very important because you don't want people looking at your screen right. . We learnt this so we can get better st our shortcuts and so if we do something wrong we can fix it. That is it for me, keep in touch with my blog because there is going to be more post!

The Really Old School Hall

This is a photo of me (Alanna) at the school hall. Our whole class took a photo of where their favourite place in the school is but the photo we  took had to have ourselves in it. The first school to have a school hall was Stratford Hall. Stratford Hall was opened in  September 5, 2000 and was made in 1738. The location for Startford hall is at  406 Great House Rd, Stratford, USA. The school hall also where we have breakfast club. The school hall is the place where every Friday one class does assembly for us. Sometimes when there is a emergency we go in the hall so the teachers can see if we are alright and we go there if there is performers.

Hello Everyone

Hi my name is Alanna. I am a year six attending Glen Taylor School  and I am in Room 12. I am Samoan and I am ten years old.  I have one sister and one brother. My favourite colour is rose gold and pink. My talent is running. My best friends are Anaysha and Danielle - you should check their blogs out!
I’m excited to be sharing a lot of my learning on my blog. I am good at reading and I will try my best to improve in my reading by the end of the year. One of my goals this year is to get to a higher level in my maths. I am going to challenge myself with my maths because I am not the best at it but I will try my best.
I really enjoy learning in my own time as well. I am good at running and I have won first place in cross country three years in a row.
This year I am looking forward to my new class, seeing what my teacher is like and making new friends. I also can’t wait until we take our Chromebooks home. I look up to my brother because he has helped me all year round and he is always there for me. That’s all I have to say, and I hope you enjoy my blog!
