The Term In Review

The last 4 weeks, I have learnt all about statistics in Math, Daily 5 in reading and explanation in writing. We have started playing Squash for kiwi sport and we recently had Life Education with Herald. The art we have been doing is our Daily 5 boxes. We had 2 test so far and I can proudly say that I have achieved my goal.

Museum Trip

Museum Trip

We went to the Auckland Museum to learn about Tapa and Tivaevae. Tapa and Tivaevae are from the Islands and the more older the fabric is, the more valuable it is. Tapa is a type of cloth that is given to people at special occasions. Tivaevae was used to distract people from doing Tapa and focus more on Tivaevae.  We went to see different parts of the Museum and my favourite place was the Volcanoes place because there was an Earthquake room. I also really liked our 1 hour lesson earning about Tapa and Tivaevae because we made our owns Tapas. I really hope I can go again next year and have even more fun.

Term 3 Holidays

My holiday was boring and fun at the same time.

Google Earth-Glen Taylor School

Today we explored Google Earth and picked one place to Blog Post about. I picked Glen Taylor School and this is a very old photo. I go to this school and I an here everyday, so I basically know the school off by heart. Glen Taylor school is located at Auckland, New Zealand.

Camp 2019

Camp 2019

Week 5, Term 2. The year 7 & 8's of Glen Taylor School went to Camp Bentzon and the best time of our lives. I had so much fun and I really want to go back and do everything all over again. I recommend you go with your friends of family one time!

Cross Country 2018

On Friday Glen Taylor School will be holding the annual Cross Country for 2018!
